Under the auspices of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Aliwi Shami, the Engineering Department of Power Mechanics Technologies organized a campaign for afforestation and the cultivation of various evergreen and seasonal shade plants in the college gardens.

This campaign comes within the framework of the efforts organized by the University for afforestation, which aims to enhance efforts to preserve the environment and vegetation cover, and in the context of supporting and developing the process of planning and managing green spaces and expanding them within the college.

A large number of faculty, staff and students participated in the campaign.
