University life is a qualitative leap for the young man, as it is a stage during which the student moves from middle school to university study, and it is a completely different stage that requires things different from what the student was accustomed to in the middle school stage, and therefore entering the university world makes the student live in new hallways on all levels, including classroom, methods of receiving the lecture, interaction with the lecturer, and the interventions and discussions on the subjects of the school curricula.
Therefore, the Registration Division is considered the first chapter of university life through which it receives the student and guides him to the path he seeks, and gives directions and advice to build the student’s future. A correct structure that blossoms at the end of the road and achieves its goal and in the following is one of the most important tasks performed by the Registration Division in Al-Amarah University College:
1- The subject of accepting students in all its channels (general admission - admission of students who are sons of professors and holders of higher degrees - admission of students with martyrs - admission of first students from institutes - admission of students who are political prisoners)
2- Transferring students, hosting them, and modifying their candidacy according to the minimum limits for admission and according to what their competitive rates qualify them in the year of their admission.
3- Follow up on student registration and supervise the completion of their personal files.
4- Follow-up of everything related to the student (postponement - registration - transit - transfer - hosting - failure)
1- Complete the documents of students who have graduated from the college after checking them, relying on university docs of graduation.
2- The validity of issuance of graduate students' documents.
3- Follow-up academic documents for students admitted to the college.
4- Instructing the necessity of adhering to the times set by the university for the purpose of checking documents for the preparatory study for students admitted to the college.
5- Registering the incoming and outgoing mail to the division, provided that the work is in an orderly and arranged manner.
6- Issuing administrative orders to initiate students and all stages of the college.
1- Issuing administrative orders to register and initiate admission in light of the university order regarding student admission.
2- Issuing administrative orders to graduate students for the first and second rounds, in light of the university order to graduate for the first round and the university order for the second round.
1- Acceptance of students in evening studies (general admission - admission of students who are sons of professors and holders of higher degrees - admission of students with martyrs - admission of first students 20% of institutes - admission of students who are political prisoners)
2- Transferring students from colleges and universities and hosting them.
3- Register students and supervise the completion of their personal files.
4- Follow up the timings related to the start of the evening admission , according to the ministerial instructions in force.
5- Follow-up of everything related to (postponement - registration - transit system - failure - transportation - and hosting.
6- Follow-up of everything related to the student, from the stage of his admission to the stage of his graduation.
