Al-Amarah University College was established in 2017, in connection with Cabinet Decision No. 358 of 2017, be based in Maysan Governorate / Al-Amarah City / Northern Entrance to the governorate in order to expand The Department of Higher Education in Maysan and Iraq. The establishment of the college aims to establish a scientific and civilized edifice that contributes to the preparation of a specialized scientific cadre, who takes an important and effective course in building and developing Iraq’s modern renaissance.

Al-Amarah University College has obtained the ISO 9001 certificate or quality assurance and international standards issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) after meeting the conditions required to obtain this certificate.
Al-Amarah University College has obtained an advanced rank among Iraq’s private universities and colleges according to the evaluation of the Ministry of Higher Education, which is the ISO 21001 certificate, the management system for educational organizations, after fulfilling the conditions required to obtain this certificate.
ِAl-Amarah University College ranked (19) among private universities, and (42) among Iraqi universities, and (845) among international universities in the global Green Metric classification approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This classification is considered a requirement for sustainability on campus and criteria for preserving the environment.
Al-Amarah University College ranked 39th at the level of Iraqi universities, and 856th at the level of world universities, in the Round University Rankings RUR global rating for assessing the quality of educational institutions for the year 2021.
Al-Amarah University College rank 110 in the global rankings (webometrics) among Iraqi public and private universities. A new and important achievement added to the College within a series of achievements and works planned to upgrade the college.
Al-Amarah University Collage has achieved a high ranking among private universities and colleges in Iraq, according to the evaluation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This ranking includes the ISO 45001 certification for occupational health and safety, awarded after fulfilling all the required conditions. We hope this certification will motivate everyone to elevate the project to the highest levels and improve performance, ultimately contributing to the development of our beloved nation.
Al-Amarah University College obtained the ISO 50001 Energy Management System certificate after meeting the requirements for obtaining this certificate. We hope that this certificate will be an incentive for everyone to rise to the highest levels and perform well in order to obtain outputs that are important in building our dear homeland.
Al-Amarah University Collage was ranked in the (UI Green Metric) ranking for 2024, in which 81 Iraqi universities participated out of 1,477 universities around the world from 95 countries, as it obtained a ranking of 1349 globally and 72 locally.
