Petroleum Engineering Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University College of Architecture started receiving students wishing to major in petroleum engineering in the academic year 2018-2019 and thus it is considered one of the young departments in Iraqi universities and colleges, but despite the modernity of this department, its ambitions are great to be one of the distinguished petroleum departments at the level of Iraq first, and at the regional level, secondly, in terms of graduating distinguished petroleum engineers who are able to effectively compete in the labor market in all disciplines concerned with the petroleum study (drilling, exploration, stockpiling, and production). The department also aspires to have an important role in implementing and the publication of scientific research, and in the establishment of workshops, seminars, scientific conferences and training courses, because of these activities of great importance in promoting scientific cooperation between the various scientific institutions and companies operating in the oil sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
